Used with the GPS Cable - NMEA Communicator to communicate with external navigation devices that use the NMEA 0183 protocol.
The app maps the current location and also reports latitude, longitude, altitude, heading, course and speed.
If a loopback connector is attached to the cable, the app can be used to test the cable by performing a loopback test.
The app can also be used to view a trace of the data received from the navigation device (to aid in troubleshooting).
